Mr Party animal 2, with extra blackbelt and fireworks

Wow, last weekend was fun. I went to 6 graduation parties, 5 of which were the same day, a black belt class to get presented the application for my black belt, and to an amazing city fireworks display.

I'll start with Saturday. I first went to my black belt class. I am currently a first degree brown belt in sanchin-ryu karate. I've been doing it for 12 or so years, and actually wrote the wikipedia page for it. Well started it but it was my creation. Being so into it, I got invited to a black belt class to get presented the application for black belt. It's quite something, because black belt isn't just knowing, it's also being a part of you. This time it was cool because I had another brown belt to work out with this time and we were working on forms. Last time I was the only brown belt and we worked on katas, of which I have never seen let alone practiced.

Afterwords I went to the graduation party of my old next door neighbor. We were only able to stay for about a half hour. She said sorry for kind of ignoring you, but it was OK since I apparently did the same to her at my grad party. You get so busy at those things it's as if all you're able to do is greet and say bye. I then went to my girlfriends good friend who I went to kindergarten with. There was some confusion as to if I was invited or not. Mom thought she was only invited because it came from the grad's mom to her, but apparently the whole fam was invited. I went and had a good time. I then went to my friend who we played trombone together in the jazz band and were in sadd together. Both he and his twin brother had their grad parties at the same time. I technical only went to 4 parties that day, but to tie with my one friend who went to 5 in one day, I asked if I could count this as 2 parties. I was given a yes so I tied with the kilt (inside joke). After that party, I went to my close friends party. He had the whole ilose group there. It was fun and weird and crazy and all that we are.

This was also the same day as the boyscout court of honor, but since I wasn't getting anything, I didn't need to go. I showed up right at the end. Normally this is the time when we have our overnighter where we guard the art for our local art fair, but due to the economy and not having it, we just kind of guard the air. It was always really fun. We'd watch movies all night and play capture the flag. But after the art fair stopped, it became a nostalgia thing for the older scouts that the noobs didn't fully understand. But then us older guys aged out and it was left to the younger guys who didn't get the draw. Well there was very little participation this year. In fact only 2 adult leaders, me and adult because I'm 18 now, and about 6 boys. We didn't have the TV like normally, nor the movies, and it wasn't going to be much of anything. It was my event. I loved guard the art. I came up with out name of guard the art in the park because prior to it was just the event name art in the woods. But then when I left, so did guard the art.

Well now for Sunday. I only had one graduation party to go to. It was my friend who is also in our ilose circle, but not fully I guess you could say. He's kind of to calm but we all like him. Anyways, his was way out of our way, because he wasn't planing on one, but his family was and they apparently live far off. My best friend and I carpooled up there. The city's name has lake in it, so my best friends dad made him bring a pair of swim trunks and a towel in case he wanted to swim. There was no lake. It was a calm little event, maybe 30 people at most. I lost at both checkers and chess, but I don't care. It was just a friendly game.

That night, my grandparents took my mom, my girlfriend, and I to their city fireworks display. We go every year and it's always cool. A couple of years ago we found this place that few people go to and it's really close to the fireworks. We can see them light them off and last year embers from some of the fireworks landed in the field right next to us. This year since I now have a girlfriend, she came with us to the show. We kissed under the fireworks. Right when they had the display with the big finally, we had a long kiss. It was perfect.

Well that was my weekend. See ya soon.

My family vacation blogs

My family vacation, day 1
Well today was eventful, kind of. I'm going on a family trip to my relatives down south. I'll tell you about the entire time, but due to possible inaccess to a computer, it may not be posted the day that I write it. I'm writing this on my Nintendo dsixl using the Nintendo ds web browser using my hotmail. I write it on hotmail, because of my 3 emails, it's the only one that will load. I then send it to my gmail or drafts in blogger. I don't post immediately because I want to spell check.

Well onto the day. We packed our minivan to the gills, half of which was snacks provided by my grandparents. We have a DVD player in our van so my cousin and I watched tomb raider cradle of life and Coraline. It was kind of hard on the way down because my grandma kept trying to force some snacks onto us kids. Oh well. Once we got to the hotel we're staying for the night, we went exploring the city looking for a place to eat. We went to this place called The Lucky Moose. It was sure lucky we found it. Mom convinced my grandparents that they served moose and we were all getting moose burgers. They went to eat at Bob Evens, because they would never eat at a place called the lucky moose. Eventually mom let them in because they were getting concerned. But she did say we'd bring them back a moose burger. If the McDonald's that's here had a Pokemon toy I didn't have, I would have bought a happy meal and give the burger to them saying it was a moose burger. More to come.

family vacation day 2
OK, today is day 2. But let me tell you about the night before. My grandparents love stories, and when we were all trying to go to bed, they were telling us stories.
Well now for the actual day. We all pack up and set out. It was raining incredibly hard. It was flooding in some places. We went to an awesome video game store that we stop at every time. They have both new, AND OLD, games. And when I say old, I'm talking nes and later. I bought A Bugs Life for Play Station, Banjo Kazooie, and a rumble pack for my n64. The place is called Play N Trade, and I recommend any fan go there. It pones gamestop.

Well we arrive, and things are weird. I have 3 girl cousins, 1 boy cousin, and they all wanted to talk to my girlfriend. Boy cousin starts asking awkward question, girl cousins are crazy, and utter hilarity happened. It was quite funny. At one point, I was the conversation messenger between everyone. GF says something, transfer to cousins. Cousins say something, relay to GF. Tomorrow we're going to holiday world. You'll hear about that tomorrow. I'm tired and going to shower and sleep. Bye.

family vacation day 3
Day 3 and boy am I tired. Before I talk about my day at the amusement park, let me tell you this crazy thing about my cousins shower. OK, I get that she's a girl, but do you really need 20 different soaps and stuff? My shower consists of a bar of soap and shampoo. That's really all you need.

Well now to talk about the amusement park. We went to a place called Holiday World in Santa Clause Indiana. The place is amazing. It has free pop, or soda for you southerners. No shit, FREE POP!!! Sure beats $5 for a bottle of water. There are great rides, and plenty of good shows. Another great thing is access to both parks. If you live in Indiana, or are going there, I highly recommend Holiday World.

But today rained. That sucked. We started out in the water park this year, and that was OK. Rain in swim trunks works fine. But I'm a fan of the rides and not water rides. I was there for about 2 hours or so. But after riding some rides, it started to down pour. I would have left with my uncle, brother, and cousin, but I had a key to my locker for the swim stuff. Let me tell you about the key. My brother and I were sharing an amusement park lockers for our clothes and stuff. Well after we were done swimming, we decided to return the key and get the deposit. But then mom made me go over and beg for the key back. Thankfully enough, they gave it back. The staff is also incredibly friendly.

So it rains, and I wait it out. I go on many rides, and then watch the diving show. It was a good day. Everyone should go to Holiday world. If not for the good prices and fun rides, for the free pop. Well I need to end it here. I've been taking many pictures of there cats in search for the perfect lolcat. Later.

day 4
Day 4, I haven't been on a computer except to fix my aunts today. More on that later. I can't access my personal email because it wont load on my ds. I am forgetting what it's like to type with my fingers instead of pecking. Depressing mission log over. Time for fun blog.
Well I woke up earlier than everyone today. Wouldn't be a problem, but it was a good 3 hours before everyone woke up and everyone was asleep in a room with the only T.V.s. I can only make my backpack o fun and a book work for so long. I went stir crazy.
Well now for fun stuff. Today I went to one of the last restaurants to have brain sandwiches. You heard me right, brain sandwich. Deep fried pig brain on a bun with pickles. I love them but they aren't for everyone. Here are the pictures.

I also went duzing with my Uncle Duz. Since it isn't his real name, I'll use what we all call him. We weren't able to go dumpster diving because it wasn't Sunday, but we had fun looking at all that he picked. It's amazing what people throw out. I took a bunch of pictures of the stuff, and plan to send them to American Pickers. They're doing this contest where if you send in a video of your stuff, they may come and pick you. Here are pictures of what I found.
(Awesomeness to much for this blog. Just wait for when the American pickers come and we're on TV.)

Then we had a firework show tonight. It was really fun, especially since we can't do them back home. I lit off many, and so did my brother. We had like $100 of buy one get 2 free fireworks. It was a really good show.

Now earlier I mentioned that my aunt's lap top had a virus. It took my cousin, my uncle, and me to fix it. I diagnosed the problem and found no solution in sight. My cousin found a way to fix it, and my uncle found the way to get the Internet to work on all wireless signals. It takes a family to fix a computer. I should shower and go to bed now. Later.

day...I forget
As the title implies, I have forgotten what day of this journey is. Since I can't go back to blogs, just go with it.
Well today was our last day with the relatives. Yesterday night we watched boomerang until 12 midnight, which for me equates to 1 am. We watched Jonny Quest and Penelope Pitstop. I was surprised as to the amount of violence and political incorrectness in Jonny Quest, but then again it was a different time. Penelope Pitstop was so ridiculous it was funny.

Well today I woke up at the same time as my brother and cousin and we watched T.V. We packed up once everyone else got up and moving. We left after our good byes. Oh, but before the leaving, we went to this amazing Chinese buffet. It had the best steak and teriaky beef I ever had buffet wise. Actually best teriaky beef ever. They also had this chocolate fountain. It was an amazing buffet, and clean and large too. The crazy buffet was the name.

Please pardon my jumpiness, but it was a long week and I miss my bed. Well tonight we're staying in this really nice best western. The room key is this like radio wave thing like at the flash your card at the check out. No magnetic swipe strip. This one isn't just going in the collection with the rest. It also has this really nice breakfast as it would seem. It also has an expensive coffee maker in the room. Here's a picture.

There was also a really nice pool. I looked at it, but didn't swim. Why didn't I swim? Because I'm not a big fan of swimming. I'm also quite tired so I wouldn't have had much fun anyways. I'm content to just blog and watch the season premier of Futurama on Comedy Central. I'm glad Viacom bought it since Turner doesn't know a good show when they have one. I'll get this posted when I get home. Later.

Day 6
Well I'm home. My copy of banjo kazooi and A bugs life for PlayStation work. Probably should clean my banjo game and rumble pack. Oh, and I'm on my lap top. Glad I'm home.

Mr. Party Animal

Woohoo, 4 graduation parties today. I am a party animal. I had my girlfriends, next door neighbors, friend of 15 years, and another friend. I'll tell them as they happened.

First was my friend of a few years. We met sophmore year, and have done many school projects together. I arived at the begining so it was just me, her family, and some of her friends I don't know. Since she gets overwhelmed easily, she was quite happy with the small size. Having had my party already, I made sure to tell her that the worst has yet to come and you will have many people. I spent about an hour there, 30 minutes of which was spent talking with her dad. We just talked about plans for next year and video game set ups.

Well after hers, I went to my girlfriends. I spent the most time at hers, 3 hours, as I probably should have. It was fun. She had mainly family, but eventually my best friend and one of her friends showed up and things got really interesting. As many of you probably know, I keep my language and jokes quite clean. For those of you who don't, well now you know. I make many situation based jokes, and I'm quite good at it getting laughs most of the time. Well aparently I'm a riot even when I'm not trying to. Aparently to people who have their minds in the gutter, some things I say are hilarious. Well I would give you an example, but I was clueless to the things. Ask my girlfriend, darkenedoptimist for examples. Tell her Pokematic sent you. Well after the crazyness, it became a giant game of "take my hat." I am very protective of my hat, and go crazy when I get it taken from me. I don't care who you are, if you have my hat, I will fight you for it. Aparently the reaction is funny, but it's bulying by definition. Cause a reation out of someones pain for your enjoyment. Well I was there for about 3 hours.

Now was time for my next party, my friend of 15 years. Just a reminder, I am 18, so that means we have been friends since we were 3. Ironically enough, I spent more time with friends he invited then him. That's probably partially due to the fact that he was running every which to be with everyone. I spent most of the time with friends that he invited. It was cool since many of them graduated last year and that was fun. I also talked with some scout dads and impressed one with my set up of 10 videogame consols.

Well I had one last one, and it was my next door neighbor. We used his canopy fly for mine, then took it back over to his for his. We exchanged some witty banter about how "I lived so far away" and other funny crap like that. I also had a very short conversation with some guys on writing thank-you notes. Mainly I just hung out with the teens and had fun for about 2 hours.

Well that was my party fun. I origionally wrote half of this on my dsi browser and sent to the secrit email. But through a glich, it wouldn't send, to any of my 3 emails or save in drafts. Oh well.

No more thank-yous and pokemon toys

Oh man, today was a great day. I finished thank-you notes!!!! Here's a video of me celebrating.

Well then I went to buy the pokemon toys at McDonalds. I bought 2. My gosh happy meal toys by themselves have gotten expencive. I remember when they were $1, but now they are $2. It's more cost effective to buy the damn happy meal. I plan to get them all anyways, and keep then in package. The lady at McDonalds looked at me kind of funny when I said I wanted the toy. Oh well, that's me. Wish me luck in my quest to colect them all. Later.

Remembering hypnotism and was that 42nd street

Hi everyone, might I say that last night was really weird. Whenever I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom or get a drink of water, I am typically able to fall back asleep really quickly. Well last night I had some trouble falling back asleep. I think I had heart burn, or just some acid reflex, or something that made the bottom back of my throat feel like it was burning with stomach acid. In my drowsy state, my logical way of solving it was to drink a lot of water, but that just made me need to pee 15 minutes later. About another 15 minutes later, I realize what it is, so I go down stairs and have half a tum. That helps, but my mind still won't shut up for another 25 minutes or so. Here's what was going through my mind all this time.
Remember how I talked about the hypnotist at the all night party with my school? Well I was imagining if I didn't keep my mouth shut when I was in the group hypnotism. I imagined if I asked why my arms were inverses, then he asked me to sit up on stage, and then do the glue thing. I imagined if I did yell "I am hulk" when I did pull my hands apart. He then hypnotized me, and I did the things where he "connected our minds," which I still thinks is bull. Apparently when hypnotized, he connected the 11 saps on stages minds and when he tapped one, the rest knew where he tapped without him talking. Well I believe I have an incredibly strong and uncontrollable subconscious and unconscious. I think he told us the wrong conscious that he uses in hypnotism. If it were subconscious the people would have some knowledge of what happened but they had no knowledge, so I think it was unconscious. Anyways, if I didn't have my crazy strong uncontrollable unconscious, I wouldn't have been able to pull my hands apart. Where was I? Oh yeah, the linked minds. Well I imagined if I was connected with everyone else, and I ended up taking over. I was blabbering things about him being a quack, and everyone was saying it in sync with me. He then disconnected all our minds, and made me 4 years old like in the show. This deserves its own paragraph.
Well let me start out by saying that age regression is a myth, so I ended up telling him that, and explained how it was just making me think I believed I was 4, and I made little sense. But I went on and on, he interrupted me, and this is what I said "you interrupted me, now I need to start all over again." As a 4 year old, and up until maybe 7, I NEVER shut up. My grandparents tell me stories about how on the way to a family reunion when I was 4, I didn't stop talking from the time we started, all the way to the hotel, for 2 hours. And whenever I was talking to my cousins, and they interrupted me, I always told them "you interrupted me, now I need to start all over again." I always did. I don't think much has changed; I just have greater control of it now. OK so back story out of the way, he asked me why I was doing this, and I in depth explained how I had ADHD, but my parents don't know that yet. He told me there was an audience of teenagers out there, and as a little kid, I was afraid of teenagers. I start crying and hide behind the chairs. I don't remember how he got me back in front of everyone, but he did, and more hilarity happened. All I remember was that we "went on a trip to the zoo" and I wouldn't sit still "on the bus" and when I went by the snakes, we were supposed to lift up our legs because the snakes came crawling near our feet. Well even at that age, I loved snakes. Instead of lifting my legs, I "bent over, picked one up, and started showing it off to everyone."
Now I probably would have continued to imagine all the show, but I wanted to go to sleep. It was almost 5 in the morning, and I started at about 4. I wanted my sleep! So I tried shutting up my running mind, but to no real avail. I realized that my subconscious and unconscious have some part of my conscious, of which I have some control but little control over. Well here's how I shut it up. I personified my conscious as catholiccontriversy, my unconscious as happy gamer, and subconscious as Pokematic. First catholiccontriversy beat them both up. Happy gamer gave up after that, but Pokematic didn't want to give up without a fight. So I thought of a really boring repeatable activity. I counted dishes coming out of the dish washer. But I wasn't counting. It was more like; "plait goes in the plait pile, cup goes on the shelf." It was mundane, repetitive, and just what I needed to shut Pokematic up. I did that for a while, and I felt myself fall asleep. Oh yeah, another cool thing about me. If I try hard enough and do it just right, I can actually remember falling asleep. It's really cool.
So now for my weird dream. I was in the pit orchestra of a show I was in the pit orchestra for back in the beginning of the school year. That show, was 42nd street. But something was...off. For starters, the pit wasn't very deep. In fact it probably only went down 2 1/2 feet, and I was facing the stage able to see the whole show. Now the weirdness doesn't stop there. None of the songs we played were actually from the play, except for dames which was only that in name. It sounded nothing like the actual song dames, but I had a solo which was cool. Another thing was no main characters from the play. There was no Peggy, no Dorthy, no Juline Marx, no billy lawyer, no anyone. Then there were only a few instruments in the pit. I remember there being me, the trombone, a French horn, and a trumpet, and maybe a flute. There wasn't the super important piano. The piano is so important to the music of 42nd street, that we had 2 players when we actually did it. One really strange thing is that I got lost while playing. I'm not saying I never get lost, that would be inhuman, but always during rehearsal and practice, never during the performance. It was as if I was hearing the music for the first time. Well the crazy play ended before it was supposed to end. I still had "the money of a student" to play. I wonder if that was somehow supposed to be "we're in the money." It either stopped because my internal sleep timer said I had my 8 hours or because things were getting to weird, even for my dreams. Chances are it was because I was aware of how weird things were. That's a new one even for me. It was as if I was in a parallel universe, as myself and not my parallel self like I normally am.

Well I better get to writing than-you notes. Later and I hope you enjoyed.

My Video Site is now Public and aneversary with my girlfriend

Hey everyone, after many months, our video site is now public. Click the link below to go to it.  http://ccpandhgvideos.blogspot.com/2010/12/home.html

OK, I get that the link thing is similar to all the public betas that I did. Here's what's making it public. On all my video channels, aka dailymotion, metacafe and YouTube, I put the link to the home page as my "URL" on my info box. It's still probably full of bugs, but that's what fans are for.

Now for a fun story. I got this free 2 meal and 2 fountain drinks coupon in a raffle to Noodles and Company. We have been going out for 3 months, so a great anniversary celebration was to go there and use it. I had a triple with butter noodles, beef, and chicken noodle soup. She had some kind of noodles, tofu, and some kind of tomato soup I think. Don't kill me for not caring, I'm not my grandparents yet. We had some conversation, half of which was what was mortifying for each gender. It was kind of embarrassing, so I won't give details. I recommend Noodles and Company to anyone. It's amazing. And our closest Noodles and Company is in this cool little city that is comparable to a bustling down town city. It has high rise apartment buildings, a movie theater, many stores and boutiques, and is full of characters.

Well, this was a cool day. Later everyone.

Back to the old stomping grounds and chooseing my leaders

Hey everyone, today started out boring like the rest of my mornings this week. I got up, ate my muffin, and started writing thank-you notes. I also cleaned some paint off my car. When it's all clean, I'll take a picture. But then things got slightly interesting.

I had some teachers from school come to my graduation party and they gave me gifts. I wrote them thank-you notes, and since we don't have their addresses, I had to deliver to school. Now at my school, seniors get out 3 or so weeks earlier then the freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. School hasn't gotten out yet for them, so going back to deliver the thank-yous I saw some of my underclassmen friends. I wore my safety vest so people would recognise me. Since I wasn't a student there anymore, I figured the rules didn't quite apply to me. Well, at least the no hat rule. I wore my hat, and no one cared. It was right before the day let out, so by the time I got everything delivered, everyone was out in the hall. I ran into some of my friends, and it was cool. I actually heard someone say "I thought he graduated." It was kind of funny and weird all at the same time.

Well after that, I went over to city hall to register to vote. I took an hour break between then, but anyways, went to go register to vote. But unfortunately for me, city hall was closed from 1 to 2 to save money. I got there at 1:16, so that means I had to go kill an hour. I watched Seinfeld on crackle. I then went back and registered once it was past 2. I am now registered to vote for my leaders, and can complain about my leaders when they screw up. I don't believe that you have a right to complain about your leaders if you don't vote, because you had your chance to say who you wanted in office and make a difference, but you chose not to. Now I just need to wait till I'm 35 and I can run for president. I'm going to run under the Pokematic party. Our views are similar to republicans, but with differences, so all you democrats better fight to get us on the ballet so I can pull votes from republicans. One step at a time though.

Later, and remember, Pokematic For President.

Want to know how boring my life can be?

Hey everyone. Want to hear about my boring day? Well if you do, and some how you aren't my mom, I am creating another blog where I will just talk about my day. The truly interesting things will still get put up on this blog, but because I love blogging so much and I'm not gifted enough to have a interesting life day in and day out, I am creating a blog that is just my boring day. Things are always slightly interesting; I mean I have an interesting life most of the time. But I can't be interesting 100% of the time or keep interesting enough to not repeat, so I have this new boring blog for my daily drag.

Now that you know why I made it, here's how I got the name. Every dinner, my mom wants "3 minutes of eye contact and to hear about our days." The name I chose was "your 3 minutes" as a joke of that. I will need to give it to her for a mothers day gift or something when I go off to college. Well if you're interested at all, here's the link. http://your3minutes.blogspot.com/

This is all so I can keep this blog interesting, and I will probably post crazy amounts of product placement and ads too. Later everyone. And remember, keep it interesting.

If it is good, it will stay

Hey everyone, let me start out with the origin of the title of this blog. I am referring to the senior paint job my friends and I did to my car. Pictures are available on my schools out blog. Well 3 or so weeks later, and being after my grad party, Dad said it was time to get it cleaned off, and since it's technically his car, I need to listen to him on those matters. Well I go to the car wash to get it cleaned off. I was going to get a low end wash, but the guy said I won't get any of it off unless I get the next level of wash. OK, so I get that. They scrub my car for maybe 6 minutes, and get a fair amount off. He then tells me that he needs to send me through because there was someone behind me, but then come back to get the rest off. I go through and not much comes off, then get back. He gets some more off that wouldn't come off the first time, but then the gold paint just wouldn't come off. Oh well, it was my fail racing flame that I was worried about because I work at a country club and staff parking is right next to hole 11. I don't think the golfers would like having that eye sore while hitting.

Well I come home and get the sponge we used to get the paint off when I proved to dad that it'll come off. It didn't like to come off this time. Dad goes to the auto store to get some buffer polish or something that actually does a good job at getting the paint off. My dad and my brother come out to help me. We get most of it off, but now I just need to scrub it later this week.

After a few hours, I go to my friends graduation party. He's blind and autistic, and both of his parents are def. For any of you extreme makeover home edition, you would remember that family from back in 2005-06. They are doing very well, and the son is incredibly smart. He was in my English class both 10th and 11th grade, and he got amazing grades. It was cool meeting his dad, and I sure hope I signed thank-you properly and not whatever the swear word is that has a very similar sign (I would tell you what it is but all I was told by an acquaintance that knows sign language is that it's a bad word). I think I did it properly, or he realized what I was trying to say because he gestured that he understood. I know incredibly broken sign language, in fact only 23 of the 26 letters and less than 10 practical signs, but I knew thank-you and that's all I really needed to know.

I opened all my graduation cards when I got back, but that's a blog for a later date when it's all done and I've gotten all my mail cards. I'll take a fun picture of me with all my stuff. Until later, this has been Pokematic, later.

Happy Birthday and Graduation

Hey world, I just finished a day of fun. First things first, let me tell you what today was; my 18th birthday and graduation from high school party. I turned 18 today, so that means I can do everything I could do before, but legally. I know I already said this in my last post, but I've bought air soft and gift cards and upon reading the fine print realized I had to be 18. Well to celebrate, I bought a lottery ticket, LEGALLY! I probably could have bought one at any time, but being a good kid, didn't want to chance it. It was a scratch off, and I lost. I love scratch offs, and I know that because I would do scratch offs with my grandparents and parents. Well now let me tell you about the festivities.

I woke up, and ate my muffin. I am interesting in many ways, but not my moring ritual. Every day except when I need to carbo load or something, it's always 2/3 of a chocolate chip muffin from Costco with an optional 3 strips of Bacon. Bacon is typically during school, and no, I never get tired of it and rarely miss a day. I had to help set up for my party, causing me to miss today's episode of Pokemon. Yes I still watch Pokemon, and many other cartoons at that. I was bummed, but life goes on. After setting up, I went to my best friends graduation party. Ironically enough, 3 of my friends all had their parties on the same day as me. I was able to make it to 2 of them because there wasn't overlap in out party times, but one was exactly the same time. My best friends was before mine, and I got there right as they were setting up. I was only able to stay for an hour or so, but we had fun. Then it was time for mine. So many people, in our average size backyard. It was cool, I got to see some people I haven't seen in years. Many of my friends showed up, but unfortunately not all of them. Still quite fun, and good food. We had these guys that cooked the shoulder of the pig, or the spam part for those of you who are in the know, and it tasted like spam just without all the salt and preservatives. It was great, and I'm glad we didn't get the caterers my grandma thought of. One of her really close friends has this caterer that does all of their parties, "and they do chicken and mostacholi and salad" all of which I don't like. In fact this was the conversation my mom and her had. Grandma: "Gean has this great caterer. They have chicken and mostacholi and salad." Mom: "yeah, and does [Pokematic] like any of that?" Grandma: "oh I guess he doesn't." Mom: "I'm just gonna stick with the pig guy." Anyways, I was told by some of my guests it was the best pulled pork they ever had, and it was definitely up there with the professional stuff I've had. There were also a lot of pictures that I may or may not upload to myspace. Might with some of the friend pictures, but probably not all the pictures with the friends of the family.

Well after everyone left, I went over to my friend that I've been friends with since kindergarten's party. Grammar Nazis don't hate, you know that was an awkward to word sentence and you probably couldn't do much better. It was at the tail end of his party so not a lot happened. This was my day. Probably won't be a new blog until next week when I have more graduation stories. Later.

PS: I've been considering crating another blog, where I just talk about my days. I really like blogging but I don't want to fill this blog up with boring stories. Think it's a good idea? Leave me a comment on your opinion.

So long minorism

Hey everyone, it is the day before my birthday. Tomorrow I am an adult, and I can buy everything I pretty much could already legally. Given my facial hair, I have never been IDed when buying some age restricted things. Now before you start making rash assumptions, I don't mean alcohol, tobacco, or porn. I'm referring to visa gift cards and and air soft pellets. Now I can legally buy visa gift cards and air soft pellets, and lotto tickets. I like tickets, my grandparents used to buy them for me and I'd scratch them off. They're fun. I wonder if I can go to the casino this year with my family when we all get together and the adults go to the casino and us kids hang out at my cousins house. It would be great fun. But I might need to be 21 to go to the casino. Oh well. My dad bought me lotto tickets as a gift and if I won I'd be able to redeem them, but alas I lost.

Tomorrow is my graduation/birthday party. Our living room looks like a party moved in but hasn't unpacked. We have so much stuff everywhere. But then I have 2 other parties to go to tomorrow as well. 2 of my good friends are also having their grad parties on the same day as me. Oh well, I'll still have fun, because there is some time where our parties don't overlap and I can go over then. It's next week where I have 5 parties to go to on the same day. Hurray for having friends.

I know this was a bit dull, but I just wanted to get you warmed up for tomorrows blog where I'll talk about all the fun I will have had tomorrow.

The largest buzzkill EVER!

I wrote this on a popcorn bag and and paper towel. This was copied as I wrote it down, except for spell checks. Scroll down for the pictures.

Let me start out by saying I'm not home sick. I have spent probably 1/4 my conscious like away from my parents. What I'm experiencing, is summer sickness.

Let me explain my situation; it has been probably 3 or less weeks since school got out, I've barely spent time with my friends, haven't been able to work my summer job, and all around be a teen free from school. But what happens right as I'm about to start enjoying myself? I go tho college orientation where they act as if summer is already over and classes begin tomorrow. Be sure to show this writing because my people deserve to see my pain.

So my parents and I drive up on (check phone because I'm so out of it)...Sunday and stay over night at the same hotel we did last time we came up. Yes I've visited the college before, 3 times actually. I get here not knowing what to expect from this orientation. But hopefully something new and exciting right? Wrong. We start out my hearing about the honors college. Why? Because I'm a braniac and did well in high school. I heard the same things as I did from previous visits, while not being crammed like sardines like I did this time. After that boring review, next came college of engineering, my intended major. Second verse, same as the first. Then comes the big welcome. 3rd verse, same as the first, just slightly worse. Then we get separated from parents, and this is where the fun begins.

We then go on this 3 hour campus tour, very similar to the one I already took last summer, but far hotter. These were the thoughts in my mind. "Yes I know what that is." "Seen it." "I will forget where that is in 5 seconds, but I'll have a map next fall." One thing that wasn't covered in previous tours was the Rapunzel tower. Apparently every time a virgin graduates a brick falls from the top, and it's the oldest building here. Come graduation I will be looking for my brick, cause in the words of my mad as a hatter friend, "I'm a virgin and damn proud of it." Speaking of my tour guide (not really but she just came up and asked what I was doing) her school pride depressed me some. All of them were trying to get us pumped for school and teach us school songs. I find it hard to find school spirit when I haven't even been able to enjoy summer. I don't blame her, because I've had to try try to motivate unmotivated people, it's her job. But really, every chant was another Nial in my summer fun coffin. She tried to get us to come up with a creative chant based on our group #, BTW, it was 28. We tried "don't hate, appreciate and we're great." But through a misunderstanding, we came up with "28, cut the shit." It stuck.

Well nothing compares to the next event in terms of spirit crushing. After the tour, we went to see a student show, and while the writing, music, acting, and everything else was quite clever and funny, it broke my summer spirits COMPLETELY! The entire thing was about "how great college is, how you will meet new friends, and everything will change, especially you." Me change, ha. I don't change, I just amplify. Really, over the years I just got weirder and geekier. But what it seems like they were saying was "summer's over and school is back in. If you didn't enjoy your summer after high school, tough luck. Now forget your friends back home because when you back nothing will be the same and you guys will have nothing in common. But enjoy skype." I get that college socialization is meeting new friends, but I haven't been able to spend my summer with my friends and girlfriend. I can't wait to get back home to fun and friends. But I can't stress it enough, this isn't missing my loved ones, it's missing the fun of senior summer. Oh, I'm writing on a paper towel and popcorn bag because of lack of paper, and if I don't write this now, I will selectively forget by the time I'm home.
To be continued....
Day 2
Well it was really hot last night, even without a shirt and socks on. That cold shower when I first got back felt incredible. The fan didn't help much because the outlet is on the opposite side of the room and the cord is only so long. My idea for a cold washcloth helped in the beginning, but then became a hassle. Eventually I realized the windows could be opened and that helped bring the temperature down to a sleepable temp. I had to get packed up early because I had to go to the engineering complex for course sign up, and that's off main campus. Well being a guy, I didn't have a lot to pack up. Packed up, ate breakfast and got out to the buss stop. I then went over to the engineering complex, and got more speeches, but this time it was new stuff. Woohoo.

I then signed up for classes. That didn't take very long. Well after that we went to the train station, where I waited for the train for 3 hours. We got there 3 hours early for some reason, then the train was running 30 minutes late. Oh well. I took the train for the first time. It was like an airplane, only slower, no security check, more leg room, and I could use my phone. I didn't bring anything to do from home, so I got a head start on the summer reading assignment for the honors college. I was not expecting a reading assignment over the summer. I thought those were over with with once I got out of k-12 schooling. Oh well, the book is interesting enough. The book is All Other Nights by Dara Horn. Like I said, interesting enough to get through. The waiting for the train for 3 hours without having to worry about doing anything put me back into summer mode, because you can only hang out in a train station without having to worry about work during the summer.

Back Home
Well I've gotten back to my fun life of out of school. Why just today darkenedoptimist and I worked on the pinata for my graduation party and watched Ren n Stimpy and Flintstones while we waited for the paint to dry. There was a situation where the TV gave out. I spent about 15 minutes connecting and disconnecting all the cords that connect through the cable. I have 4 video game consoles connected through the cable on my TV, so I was trying to find the short in one of them, since when connected, I got zigzag snow and when disconnected I got random snow. DO found it funny to watch me fiddle around with it. Oh well, whatever makes her happy. Somehow having the powerstrip on caused the problem. Oh well.

Garage saling

Hey everyone. Today was a good day even though it was increadibly hot. It was my comunity wide garage sale. And while not as good as previous, and increadibly hot, it was still kind of good. Previous years had most of the comunity selling great junk, like movies and video games. But this year, there was about half the participation in sellers, most of which were just selling knick knacks, furiture stuff, baby toys, and other junk I'm not interested in. There were 2 people selling clasic Play Stations, unlike previous years where I counted 10 in one day, and only some videogames that were lame, mainly v-teck and the other educational games. Everyone sells their old vhs, but only a few were, and I like vhs because they're so much cheaper than dvd and I get the same movie without the useless bonus features I will probably not watch. I did get some stuff. Here's a picture of what I baught.
Pokemon tcg tin with many assorted cards and meet the parents on vhs. I don't have many of the cards I baught so it was a good deal being included with the tcg tin. Most of the cards are more recent pokemon or more recent pictures for them and most of my cards are vintige 90s cards.
Here is a picture of what my brother got me as a late grad gift.

It's comercials fron the 50s, 60s, and 70s and a sony walkman portable cassette tape player. The comercials are computer cds that were meant for windows 3.1, 95, and macintosh 7. I put one into my vista laptop, opened it as a data cd, and found all the comercials in a folder marked movies, and all the videos are avi files. I'm glad they aren't some dead file format requireing me to get some sort or driver so I could run them. I'm a comercial fan so great gift for me. I also got my dad a gift for the next gift giving holiday for him. It's a dvd set of star treck deep space nine since he's a trecky. Well thats all for now. Later.

Graduation and the all night party

I should be sleeping now, but my free running circadian cycle is compleatly screwed up due to social entrainment. For those of you who don't know psycology, that means that I'm tired but because it's day when I'm normally awake, I can't sleep. So now I'll get to the fun part, my graduation ceromony and the senior all night party.

Lets start with the first, getting ready for the graduation ceromony. Because my brother is in the band, he has to play at graduation and gets in free. That means I didn't have to get extra tickets for my family since they give us 4 free tickets and the only ones that needed tickets were my parents and gradnparents. I did buy extra tickets for my friends because at ticket pick up you were only able to get 4 extra at the time then have to come back for the rest. Look back a couple of blogs, you can read more about that at the graduation practice post. My parents to save money are going to try to get my brother to wear my cap and gown his graduation. He'll just have to swap out the tassles so they're 2013 and not 2011. He'd be fine with it if they are able, and joking around they said I could wear mine and get in free if the material is verry divverent or it doesn't fit. Tickets are $3 and we aren't that stingy, just funny.

So now we're looking at the graduation its self. I get showered, and mom told me NOT to put my hat on afterwards. Why, so I don't get hat hair for my ceromony. But I wear the mortarboard hat with the tassles so I'm going to get hat hair anyways, and no pictures are taken without the hat, so I fail to see the logic. Whatever, it happened and my mom doesn't ask for much so I humored her. So I get dresses, in my black slacks, white shirt, pokemon tie, and safetyvest. Yes I wore the safety vest under the gown. Don't believe me check out this picture.

People that knew me well were wondering if I would, and I did. So being in a family of picture happy people, we spent probably 45 minutes or so taking pictures at my house. Here's just one, I don't really feel like showing all them here.
To see more, go to my myspace HERE.
We get in our van and procede to the place where the ceromony is. Since I was with my parents and especially my grandparents, it was a bit of a crazy ride up there; with my grandparents asking so many questions with few questions actually being answered. Oh well. So we get there 30 minutes early because we accounted for trafic, which there wasn't much. Because my grandma has such bad arthritis, she has a handycap sticker so we were able to park in the vip/handycap area. I saw a few of my friends while we were waiting for them to open the gates. More pictures, but this time I had my motarboard tilted to the right in similar fassion as when I wear my hat. My hat is alwayse tilted to the right. Here's one with tilted.

It's a little hard to really see, but it is tilted. For more pictures, myspace HERE. We get in and I meet up with my friends for some group shots, all of which are up on my myspace. I line up and get ready to go in. Let me just say this first, the tassles liked to get in my mouth and once they got in my eye, ouch.

We walk in and take our seets. Being a first row isle seat was great. As my friends who were in choir, orchestra, or symphonic band were going onto the stage so they could play with them, I would hold my hand out for a high 5 or what they dicided to give. I got many hand shakes, bro shakes, and high 5s. We hear speaches, the band, the orchestra and the choir. All of them were really good. My friend who won the senior speach contest did a great job. I entered but I didn't win, probably because I did nothing but reminis on past times and my own experiences, and wasn't serious at all. I'll probably film mine and make it a video. After all that it was time for diploma presentation. Instead of trying to tell you everything, a pictures worth a thousand words, and a video is 24 pictures a second.
My digital camera doesn't record sound so there's nothing wrong with your speakers or conection. I was the only student to give the president of the school board a hug after recieving my diploma. I did that because we were told to not draw a lot of attention to ourselves when getting our diplomas. But I am most unforgettable and love to be a ham, hugging instead of handshake was the perfect sollution. And aparently the president is leaving so I was the only one to give a hug to our outgoing president. On my way across the stage I accedently dropped my diploma, again only one to do that, but that atention draw was unintended. After the diploma presentation we did the ceremonial moving of the tassles from the right to the left. I was one of the kids that threw his hat up afterwards, but I was smart and lucky. Being first row I had a big empty space infront of me, so I threw in that general direction. I also didn't throw very high, so I was able to keep track easily and get mine right afterwards. We then proceded out, where I got more pictures with friends and teachers afterwards. I met up with my family and my girlfriend's family where we took some more photos. We then went home where I changed and got ready for the all night party.

Now I know what you might be thinking, but the all night party isn't like most parties. This one is shool sponcored, helled in the school athetic wing, and isn't full of drugs and achohol. It was still increadibly fun. I'll go in order of happening. First my friends and I did the bounce house things. The first one was the bungie races. Again, I got a first person perspective of me doing it.

Bungie Races First person perspective - The best home videos are here
Really fun. After that I did this thing where it was like soccer, dogeball, and basketball, all in a bounce house. No video from that because I didn't want to damage my camera. It was cool. We even had to wear these soft helmet things. They were similar to the helmet things wreselers wear. After that my girlfriend, best friend, and I made this video thing where we dance on a green screen to a song we choose using a digital background we choose. Afterwards we get a copy on dvd. Due to copyright, I may or may not upload it. It all depends if it will get through the censors on my ccpandhgviolatecopyright on dailymotion or if it is alowed on youtube with ads and stuff. It was cool because my safety vest made me vanish. I then made the others vanish as well. I swam with my girlfriend and some of her friends shortly after that. I did that for about 30 minutes, then got bord and went back out to the party. They had these casino games set up and we got a bag of chips. I played rulet, beet the dealer dice, and back jack. I did ok I guess. I didn't play much though. I did the cupid shuffle and the cha cha slide shortly afterwards. I got caricatures, one of just me and one of my girlfriend and I. I need to wait on the other but here's the just me one.

Funny stuff. Darkened optimist, aka my girlfriend, and I did this flipnote thing. I wish I could show it to you but I don't really know how to upload it. We actually spent a lot of time together at the all night party. There was this wishes wall where family and friends could write you one befor hand and it would get posted. We got to keep them afterwards. There were raffles for some good things, and entry was coming to the party. I unfortunately didn't win anything, but darkenedoptimist won an ipod shuffle. Now you may be wondering, with all this stuff, where do we put it? Well to keep from having to carry it around all night, we all got these duffle bags where we checked all our stuff and they were kept by the door. I went there many times. There was this wall where we got to see each other from elementary school year books. I saw a bunch of my friends from kindergarten to 5th grade. I changed a lot, mainly due to my beird.

Now the hypnotist deserves his own paragraph. Now hypnotism is a real science, but the extent to which some people believe is just superstition. This was sciencey. It was cool, while the vast majority was 11 lucky people doing most of the funny things, he was able to get the entire group to do some cool little things, but it didn't work well for me, to which I blame my ADHD. Hypnotism is just accesing the subconcious while quieting the concious, but my suconcious is weird. We looked at a hypno disk and the hypnotist told us to focus on it while thinking about a balloon inflating. After the hypnodisk and hearing and imaginig the balloon, we were then instructed to look at his head. His head was supposed to inflate, but for me it was kind of flunctuating by getting bigger then smaller. Weird. Then there was the mind reading, of which I say it's a magic trick and reading body language. I'm not a believer in mind reading, so there. Then there was more group hypnotism, where we like imagined our fingers being tied together by twist ties and rubber bands. Now for most that worked, because we were supposed to try to separate them but then we couldn't sort of thing. But my subconious put a splint or separater and they stayed separated. Then there was a ting where we were supposed to invision having our left wrist tied to many helium balloons and our right hand holding many books. I did that, and many people had their left arm up in the air and their right arm on the ground, but for some reason my books were increadibly light and high up and my left was heavy, tired, and on the ground. I think my subconcious was compensating for the lack of needing to hold up but then my left arm got really heavy because there weren't any balloons in actuallity and my right arm got really light because I was holding up the books, but with no books I raised my arm because it was so light. There was another relaxing thing where we were supposed to invision a candle, but one lone candle is to calm for my ADHD mind, so I kept invisioning many firework fuses. I tried the candle, but with the concious off, the subconcious has the power, and the subconcious wanted fuses. We were then supposed to invision stress melting away, but the only thing melting away was the color from my body and clotes making me balck and white. Our mind was supposed to go blank after the melting, but my subconcious wanted to play donkey kong, and thus I did, on an arcade cabenet as well. We were told when we come out of it we will be fully allert and not tired at all. I was that befor hand, and if anything I felt tirder. Something screwy going on. Well the last thing to decide if we were able to be funny up on the main stage area, was to imaginary super glue our hands toghether and we weren't able to pull apart until released. It kind of worked, but my subconcious said "no, you are hulk, you can pull them apart." I felt the togetherness, but I was able to pull them apart. I then checked my shirt to make sure I didn't rip it while hulking out. I really thought I ripped it. Darkenedoptimist was stuck, and she got hypnotised infront of everyone. She wasn't the funniest, but still prety funny. She bacame 4 years old and thought her bellybutton was stollen and other stuff. Nothing like believing that you are 4 agian I guess, but true age regression is a myth as I learned in psycology. She didn't remember anything, like many fully hypnotised people, so it was up to us, meening her friends and I, to tell her the funny things she did.

Well after the hypnotist show, it was time to say bye to everyone. I did, and got my bag. Fun time. Stupid internal clocks, I want to sleep. But later.
notes while typing: wow I'm tired, mmmmm ramen, my eye is still hearting from the tassle in my eye,

smoke alarms, grauation pictures, shopping the mall, and band banquet

Wow, more stories in such a short time. Let me start with a funny story that happened very early in the day. At about 1 am, the smoke alarms in my house went off. My brother wakes up screaming. It's not a high pitch girl scream, but more of a loud, long caveman grunt. He's our of bed, and by then I'm out of bed, and I give the same scream. We both have rather large shaggy beards, so the 2 of us grunt screaming at each other in the dark looked funny. A few seconds later, these are the exact words that went through my mind, "what that noise!? It's the circle box! That mean fire stupid! GET OUT!" I open the door, and my parents just open their door. I here my mom say "uhhh calm down boys," but I was at the other end of the hall getting ready to go down the stairs.

I'm nearly at the bottom, well more like halfway down, and my brother knocks something off the side of the top of the stairs causing it to fall to the base. It was like clothing or something, but I had to jump over it when I got to the base. I go outside to the tree in front of our house where we decided to meet up many years ago if there was a fire. I see that no one is coming out, and the hose is still standing, so then I go back inside. I was shell shocked afterwards, so I'm laughing for 5 minutes afterwards. As it turns out, the battery in the hall detector died and that set off all the detectors since they're all wired together.

Well I go back to sleep, and I have to get my brother to school again. When will I be able to sleep in like a normal senior? Probably next week. Anyways I get him there, and get ready for my picture at sears. Yesterday I got my cap and gown, and it was wrapped up and wrinkly. To try to pull the wrinkles out, I weighted down problem areas since neither my mom nor I trust each other with an iron with this unknown material. Check out these funny pictures.

I used my key chain to weigh it down. It worked a little.

So I gather everything together ready to go to sears. My grand parents have been taking me to sears for pictures since I was a new born. A couple of years ago, I learned from my cousins that it isn't normal to go to get pictures at sears portrait studio every 3 weeks from age new born to age 7 and then going at least 5 times a year since. It was annoying, especially since to save money, my grandma gets a package that requires you to take a bazillion poses, but then after all them, she only gets 2 or so. I guess it's more economic, but super annoying.

Well sears is attached to a mall, like most, so before I spent about an hour and a half going around the mall. I spent most time in the Game Stop and FYE. I didn't find anything at either, but was still fun to look around. After the pictures, I had lunch with my grandparents at the Logan's that is right close. After lunch, I went to ABC Warehouse. I've wanted to go there since I started seeing all the commercials for it. The sales guy asked me if there was anything specific I was looking for, but I told him "nothing specific, I just saw so many commercials about 'closest thing to wholesale' and I'd figured I'd look around." He thought that was a good enough answer and said please do. I looked around, and on the $5.99 DVD rack, I found some DVD collections of 4 movies together and lesser TV show seasons. Then I found Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Two-Disc Special Edition) on the rack. That and Deathly Hollows Part 1 are the only ones I am missing in my collection. Now it's just Deathly Hallows Part 1 that I'm missing.

Then at dinner time, I had the band banquet. I sat with my friends, and I got some awards fro being in concert band, jazz band, and pit orchestra. Not a lot happened. Sorry, no elaborate story. I just cheered for my friends and such. So this has been this day. Tomorrow is graduation and all night party.
