Hall of washouts rant
A stupid award show that no one will watch ruined my Friday night. Cartoon Network, get your head out of your ass and drop this live action crap already! No one likes it, no one watches it, and no one cares.
Don't watch this Live Action bs and we can restore Cartoon Network to it's former glory.

I am most unforgetable
Well due to those things, I was nominated for most unforgettable. Almost everyone knew I was going to win. Everyone knows me for one thing or another. I got sort of dressed up for the event. I gave myself a comb-over and wore a polo shirt. Needless to say I wore my vest. Here is a picture of the comb over.
I wish I had video of the event. It runs similar to the Oscars. There is an introduction with a theme. This year it was star wars, where video students made a star wars parody. It was funny. Then the video and/or student leadership kids introduce the award. There is then a video with the all the nominees doing something related to what they are nominated for. After the nominee video, the kids handing out the awards read who the winners are and the winners walk across the stage to receive their award. I win and go up to the stage. Because it was most unforgettable, I needed to do something unforgettable and different. Instead of just walking across, I moon walked across. Or as best I can moon walk. Here is the picture of me with my awards.
It's cool. The statue has my name on it, the awarded, the year, and "Senior Bear Awards." It came with a certificate with the same info. I'm happy I was recognised for all the crazy things I do.
And on a side note, I wear a giant key chain that weighs 3 pounds. Because one of the awards was coolest car, I was asked to have my key chain used in the presentation of the award. It was funny, and everyone knew it was my key chain. I got it back exactly they way I had it before. It was good fun.

English 2nd Semester fear
First semester started and things weren't super great. We had to write a speech on how our summer reading book changed our life. I read "Tom Sayer," and that book didn't affect me at all. Still a good book, just no life changing. I still wrote an amazing speech and had it not been for my pacing, I would have gotten a perfect on it. But the other books and units were good. "One Flew Over the Coocoos Nest" was really interesting, and the only 2 symbols were blatantly obvious. The assignments were decent as well. Then there was "Things They Carried." While the book was a war protest novel, it was a bazillion times better than "Johnny Got His Gun." Mainly because it was written in complete sentences and wasn't random. There also wasn't any symbols. Everything we did was plot based. We also had this assignment were we had to teach a section of the novel to the class. That was cool, and we had to incorporate a movie clip. Most people, including myself, used "Forest Gump" for their clip. We almost saw the whole movie by the time that unit was done. There was also a media unit. It seems like every year in high school we did a media unit in English. Not sure how that fits into English, but we get to watch reality TV. First semester was good English wise. It gave me faith in English class again. Click here for my English rant.
But now in second semester, things are starting to look grim. We are reading "A Streetcar Named Desire," and it is heavy in symbols. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
English was just starting to be cool again. My faith was revived, but now it is under attack again.
Why? WHY? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY???????????????????
Maybe this is just a fluke. Maybe the rest of the year will be good. Only time will tell.
So long everyone.
